FRA Designs
I created over 500 original designs each year at FRA including logos, programs, billboards, yard signs, social media ads, posters, show tickets, and calendars. These are just a few examples of some of the work I did there.
This booklet was mailed to all alumni explaining the events and activities during Alumni Weekend. The design is clean and simple with bright images and contrasting font combinations. Click on the photo to view the entire booklet.
This yearly report is mailed to everyone who has given money to the school, and the inspiration for this particular year was that each contribution helped fill a missing financial need on campus. I used puzzle pieces as the cover art in order to reflect this message. Click on the photo to view some of the content in the magazine.
Each year, FRA put on an auction to raise money for different departments/programs at the school. The logos above reflect the theme of the auction night for that year and were displayed on all of the items for the event.
This single sheet of fast facts is housed in FRA’s Admissions office and is a brief breakdown of the highlights of the school for perspective families to take home. The admissions team wanted it to have both photography and infographics, so I incorporated both by using thick font over the photos to display the facts.
The leadership team of faculty and staff created the language for A Profile of an FRA graduate, and I was tasked with creating the icons and imagery that reflects each value listed. These posters are displayed throughout campus and in each classroom as part of FRA’s commitment to its students.
The drama teacher wanted this play’s artwork to look like it came from a comic book. I combined three different scenes from comic strips and added word bubbles to further reflect this type of artwork. The movie posters were displayed around campus, and there were also tickets, programs, and yard signs created portraying the same artwork.
FRA Ad Campaigns
My team created advertising campaigns for the Admission Open Houses with tailored messages targeted to perspective families. Each year, the message targeted a unique aspect of the school and was consistent across our social media pages. Our budget was less than $100 for each advertisement, and our goal was to reach as many people within the specifically defined target audience.
Freelance Designs
I have been doing freelance work off and on for 5+ years and mostly help friends or smaller companies with specific projects. I have created brochures, booklets, t-shirt designs, postcards, logos, etc. for clients. The most important thing for me is keeping the brand consistent and conveying each project’s specific message clearly and aesthetically for its intended audience.
I created this tri fold brochure for a local startup company. The content in the brochure explains EIRSystems’ product P.A.G.R. Prescriptions© and includes a brief overview of the company. I used screenshots of the app from the individual portals and created graphs to visually describe the e-prescribing system. Because the content is health-related, I kept the design simple with plain fonts and a three-color scheme consistent with the logo.
These three postcards were done during my time as a campaign assistant for a political fundraiser in Nashville. I was able to use my design experience to create postcards for some of the events around the state. I also created three templates on Canva for them to use for future events.
For each card, I used simple color schemes that matched the politician’s logo, so that the brand was recognizable and consistent. I also used formal fonts in a readable layout in order to include the required contribution information on each 8x5 postcard.
